NOTICE TO STUDENTS OF AKWA IBOM STATE UNIVERSITY (AKSU) Students of Akwa Ibom State University, including those offered admissions in 2014/2015 academic session, returning (old) students, as well as parents and the general public are hereby informed to note and follow the procedures stated below for: •Payment of Acceptance Fee by the newly admitted students; •Payment of School Fees/Charges; •Online Bio Data registration. •Course Registration. (1) Procedure for Payment of Acceptance Fee by Fresh Students. PAY@BANK OPTION. • Visit http:/www.aksu.edu.ng from any internet access point (EgCybercafes). • Click on the link “PAY ACCEPTANCE” under admission menu. • Enter your Jamb registration number and login. • Select the ACCEPTANCE FEE button and click CONTINUE button.Visit: www.akahitutors.com


• Click on print button to print the Pre-Payment Analysis Slip. • Click on MAKE PAYMENT button to make payment using PAY4ME platform. • Select Pay At Bank mode from the payment mode option menu. • The list of banks supported on the platform appears, click the CONTINUE button to proceed. • An ACKNOWLEDGMENT SLIP containing transactions details appears. • Click on PRINT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT SLIP button to print the slip. • With the acknowledgment slip visit any branch of the banks listed on the platform. • At the bank, the bank teller uses the acknowledgment slip to accept the payment in cash and provides the student/candidate with e-payment receipt. •Visit the bursary department to change your e-receipt to the University official receipt. •Re-visit the University site for your online bio-data registration. (2) Procedure for Payment of School Fees/Charges by Old and New Students. (a) PAY@BANK OPTION The steps for BANK payments are as follows: • Visit http://www.aksu.edu.ng from any internet access point (Eg Cybercafes). • Click on the link “MAKE PAYMENT” under Students Menu on the left panel. • Enter your Matriculation/Jamb registration number and login. • Select the SCHOOL FEE button and click CONTINUE button. •Select FULL PAYMENT or PART PAYMENT. • Click on print button to print the Pre-Payment Analysis Slip. • Click on MAKE PAYMENT button to make payment using PAY4ME platform. •Select Pay AT BANK mode from the payment mode option menu. • The list of banks supported on the platform appears, click the CONTINUE button to proceed. • An ACKNOWLEDGMENT SLIP containing your transactions details appears. • Click on PRINT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT SLIP button to print the slip. • With the acknowledgment slip visit any branch of the banks listed on the platform. • At the bank, the bank teller uses the acknowledgment slip to accept the payment in cash and provides the student/candidate with e-payment receipt. • Visit the bursary department to change your e-receipt to the University official receipt. • Re-visit the University site for your online bio-data registration. GENERAL PROCEDURE FOR ONLINE BIO DATA REGISTRATION FOR NEW AND RETURNING STUDENTS. • Log on to the address: http://www.aksu.edu.ng from any Internet access point (e.g. CYBERCAFES). •Click on the link "REGISTRATION" under "ADMISSIONS'' Menu. • Enter your Jamb Registration Number (New Students) OR Matriculation Number (Returning Students) without any space and click on login. • A form containing your basic information appears (Personal Information). • Fill the other required information and click on “CONTINUE BUTTON”. • Repeat step above for other stages (Passport Upload, Contact Details, and Academic Details). • A preview page appears, confirm the information before clicking on continue button. • Click on print button, to print your online registration confirmation slip. ATTENTION: NEW STUDENTS ONLY After screening and online registration, submit your University Matriculation Number (Collected from the School) and Jamb Registration Number with the help desk officer at the ICT unit, for further update on your bio-data. N/B: For complaint/assistance, see help Desk Officer at the ICT unit.
