The University of Lagos, Nigeria
will host the 3rd Biennial Conference of the African
International Economic Law Network (AfiELN) from Wednesday, April
29 to Thursday, April 30, 2015 at the National
Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), 13/15 Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria
Island, Lagos.
With the theme: Role
of International Economic Law in African Development, the
Conference will feature a keynote address by Governor Babatunde Raji
Fashola, SAN of Lagos State. It will also
feature the Prince Claus Chair Roundtable on The Right to Development
in Africa and sessions on:
- Investment Law and Policy as a Catalyst for African Development.
- Sustainable Economic Growth and Development in Africa.
- International Trade Law and Policy and African Development.
- Emerging Trends in Regional Economic Integration across Africa.
The event is open to: Academics,
Private Practice Lawyers and In-House Counsel, Public Sector Lawyers,
Regulators, Economists, International Business Professionals and anyone
interested in Pan-African Business and Emerging Markets in Africa.
