GreatIfe Mobile APP FINALLY LAUNCHED!!!
Revolutionary and jubilative regards to the entire Great IFE Community! The most correct exodus of this brief will be to wish us success in our exams. We pray that we all move into the next session with sound success in this semester exams (Amin)
As part of the promises of the outgoing/dissolved Union executive, we promised among many things achieved during our tenure; an application to connect all members of the Great IFE community. We make bold to say the development of the app called ‘’GreatIfe APP’’ has been completed. The app launched this day Friday 17th April, 2015 will be fully operational and readily and available for download by 1st May 2015.
The primus reason for this Great IFE App initiative is to create an online professional platform upon which Alumni and students can interact. Benefits attached to the use of this app among its many advantages are;
Direct connection of Alumni and students
Aids student-student interaction
Aids lecturer-student interaction
Aids alumnus-alumnus interaction
Makes information dissemination an easy process as users can create groups; class reps, presidents and leaders at various levels can interact in groups.
Allows for one on one chat via its chat channel/feature
Allows for direct access to jobs from jobberman
Allows for mentorship through one on one interactions
Users can choose who to connect with and who not to.
Allows students to build their profile and make the same public. This makes it easy for them to be contacted for jobs by Alumni that own companies throughout the world.
This application is available in
Android OS, Blackberry OS and BB10 OS. With this app we are opportune as
OAU Students to get on the mobile Great Ife community. This app will
be available for download and fully operational by 1st May, 2015.

This app is an initiative of the 2013/2014 Students’ Union led by
Ibikunle Isaac M. (President); developed by Encomium Technologies;
closely monitored by the Students’ Union ICT/Media Team chaired by
Akinbande Ademola Olamide with Bamidele Oludare (the PRO) as the
Director; and being hosted by INTECU,OAU
