CHAIRMAN of All Progressives Congress (APC) Governors Forum, Chief
Rochas Okorocha, in Lagos, on Monday, said no fewer than seven governors
elected on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are secretly
working and mobilising support for APC in the forthcoming elections.
Okorocha made the disclosure while addressing party’s supporters at a rally held in Amuwo Odofin area of the state, in continuation of campaign to sell the candidature of the party’s governorship standard-bearer in the state, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode.
According to him, the resolve of the affected governors, who he did not name, to work with the APC had nailed the coffin of the PDP in the country.
“Now let me tell you, the victory of Major-General Muhammadu Buhari has been signed, sealed and delivered. But let me tell you something, but don’t tell anybody. It is a secret today (yesterday), about seven governors who are not APC are coming to hold meeting with us privately to join us.
“The fear of Buhari is the stoppage of corruption in Nigeria,” the governor said.
