Tips on How to Excel in UNIBEN Post-UTME/DE
I'm going to share here tops that will help you excel in University of Benin Post-UTME exams.
1. Get UNIBEN Post UTME Past Question: This is apparently the most important thing any serious student would get. I remember writing my Post-UDE exam and quite a number of the questions were repeated. This helped me save time because timing is so important since you don't have the whole day after all.
2. Review Past JAMB-UTME and even WAEC Past Questions: Perhaps you probably have not heard but it's a fact that the Comprehension Passages set in UNIBEN Post-UTME exams are basically WAEC past questions. Also, many of the other subjects like Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics, Literature-in-English, and Commerce are repeated in the same way however few.

7 Skills You Can Learn In School That Can Set You Up For Success In Life
Most skills necessary for one to succeed in life are what one can
develop while in school. The reason is that the school environment
provides the atmosphere for these skills to be developed. That means you
don't need to wait till you are out of school to start developing and
perfecting these critical success skills.
These skills may not be part of the usual school curriculum but like I said earlier, the school environment provides the settings for these skills to be developed. It would however take a deliberate and conscious effort on the part of a student to develop these skills after all it's your life-your responsibility. Theses success skills are;
Goal Setting: Your success in real life will depend on knowing what you truly want and taking the responsibility towards achieving it. If you don’t really know what your objective is, then it does not matter whether you win or lose. Students should learn the art of goal setting, for instance you should have a goal for every study time (What you have to achieve before your study hour ends). Those who acquire good grades in school usually are those who decided to do so right from the very beginning. Plan ahead! What grade do you want to achieve? What skills do you want to acquire? Be clear on what you want. This is a critical success factor.
Time Management: Distractions are inevitable on daily basis. Life in school is no different. To ensure that one productively maximize time...continue by clicking here

PDP releases press statement on AIT ban, says it's dangerous for democracy

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described as unacceptable the Monday’s directive by the President-elect, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari to bar a television house, the AIT, from covering his activities, saying the suppression of the media under any guise portends danger for the nation’s democracy.

Secretary, Olisa Metuh in a statement on Tuesday said that after carefully studying
the defence posited by General Buhari’s campaign spokesperson as well as the
smokescreen statement by the APC to cover and mitigate his anti-media posture, the
PDP and indeed all lovers of democracy are persuaded that the action was not
only unjustifiable, but also unconstitutional and completely against the spirit
of liberty and the rule of law in a democracy.

We also consider as most unfortunate and uncharitable, the suggestion by Alhaji Mohammed that the Jonathan Administration is trying to “tie the hands” of the incoming government merely by continuing to discharge its constitutional responsibilities until the end of its tenure.

Top 12 Corruption Cases In Nigeria - Politics
1. N195 Billion Maina Pension Scam
It is believed that Alhaji Maina misappropriated billions of naira worth of pension funds, which he claimed to have recovered from pension thieves. The senate committee probing pension funds management accused him of mopping up pension funds from banks and depositing the money in his private accounts. According to the committee, this mopping of such funds had made it impossible to pay thousands of pensioners across the country for months. When he was summoned to appear and clear the air on the committee’s findings, Alhaji Maina instituted a N1.5bn case against the senate and the inspector general of police. Things came to a head last week when the senate passed a resolution asking the presidency to sack Alhaji Maina within two days or face its wrath. Although the presidency had initially insisted that only the head of service could sack Maina, it subsequently changed its tone and ordered that disciplinary action should be taken against him for absconding from his duty post without permission.

Reasons Why Women Hate Each Other - Romance
You hear things like; “ I don’t get along with women,” “ I prefer being
friends with males than females ,” or “ I’m don’t have female friends
because they’re too much drama .”
A lady walks into a room and some other ladies in the room start to hate for no reason. They make rude remarks, give icy stares that would make the newcomer almost bury herself if she has no self-confidence.
Often times, there is that one woman who immediately turns into an ice queen upon the very sight of you, despite you having done absolutely nothing to wrong her in any way.
Unlike men, women will often dislike another woman for no logical reason at all. The female folks are quick to judge one another and they are less likely to become friends with someone who could be perceived as a sexual rival.

South-east, South-south Groups Demand Self-determination - Politics
Some groups from the South-east and South-south regions of the
country have called for self-rule and self-determination for the
regions.

Speakers at the one-day conference organised by the Lower Niger Congress (LNC) expressed their disappointment with the outcome of the 2015 general election, alleging that it was conducted to further push the two zones into the backwaters of the Nigerian nation-state.

"The fraud called Boko Haram can be defeated by denying it a recruitment base," General Buhari told visiting leaders of Nassarawa State who came to congratulate him on his emergence as President-elect. No religion allows for the killing of children in school dormitory, in markets and places of worship. They have nothing to do with religion. They are terrorists and we are going to deal with them as they deal with terrorists anywhere," he announced.

Pres. Jonathan orders immediate release of report of forensic audit of NNPC accounts

We have noted with concern, the allegation by the spokesman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Lai Mohammed that officials of the Federal Government are engaged in “last minute looting of the nation’s resources, rushed privatization of key institutions and hurried recruitment into the public service”.
We also consider as most unfortunate and uncharitable, the suggestion by Alhaji Mohammed that the Jonathan Administration is trying to “tie the hands” of the incoming government merely by continuing to discharge its constitutional responsibilities until the end of its tenure.

US Daily Beast comes for Tinubu in new article, calls him 'Heroin Kingpin'

General Muhammed Buhari’s political partner is a former bagman for two heroin traffickers. But that’s just business as usual in Nigeria. Nigeria’s election last month was celebrated as an unlikely victory for democracy in an African country with a tenuous record of free and fair representation.
